Hozier – Take Me To Church
This song may have turned 10 this year, but you guys still can’t get enough of it! A struggling musician at the time of its composition, Hozier wrote and recorded the demo for ‘Take Me To Church’ in the attic of his parents’ home in County Wicklow, Ireland, and it went on to become his breakthrough hit! Combining immensely soulful vocals with a powerful emotional delivery, this is a moving song that’s become a karaoke favourite.
Christina Perri – Human
Originally unsure if the song would be on her sophomore album as she felt it was too personal, we’re so glad Christina Perri changed her mind. Centred around a piano melody, ‘Human’ showcases what Perri does best- a power pop ballad! Lyrically describing the vulnerability of being human, this is a heartfelt and emotive song that was made for karaoke, and it’s no surprise it’s a popular Sing King pick!
Marshmello, Anne-Marie – FRIENDS
In 2018, American DJ Marshmello and British singer Anne-Marie came together to bring us both a spelling lesson, and a highly relatable (and catchy) friend-zoning anthem! Mixing elements of pop and EDM with witty lyrics, this is an upbeat karaoke song we can’t help but sing again- and neither can over 11.8 million of you!

Taylor Swift – Love Story
Appearing on her sophomore album, Fearless, ‘Love Story’ marked a significant shift in Taylor’s career, establishing her crossover into mainstream pop whilst maintaining her country roots. Referencing William Shakespeare’s tragedy Romeo and Juliet, this Grammy awarded Taylor classic is a nostalgic karaoke track that we all still love to this day! If you claim to not passionately scream out the chorus to this banger, I simply don’t believe you!
Goo Goo Dolls – Iris
The intro to ‘Iris’ never fails to give us chills! Originally written for the soundtrack of the 1998 film, City of Angels, this alternative rock power ballad is the Goo Goo Dolls’ signature song. Deeply emotional and longing, this song is a strong contender for any ‘songs to cry to’ playlist, and is the perfect addition to any ‘in your feels’ karaoke sesh.
Charlie Puth – Attention
This song’s certainly caught your attention! The lead single from Charlie Puth’s sophomore album Voicenotes, ‘Attention’ peaked at number five on the US Billboard Hot 100 Chart, becoming his highest-charting single on the chart as a solo artist to date! Pairing Charlie’s smooth vocals and falsetto range with an infectious 80s soft-soul funk baseline and catchy hooks, this song is a groovy breakup karaoke anthem.

Ysabelle – I Like You So Much, You’ll Know It
Gaining popularity from posting covers of popular songs on her Youtube channel, Ysabelle’s English cover of ‘I Like You So Much, You’ll Know It’ from the soundtrack of 2017 Chinese television drama, A Love So Beautiful, remains her most popular cover – with over 220M views on her channel! The song proves just as popular a karaoke track, having surpassed over 11 million views on our channel!
Taylor Swift – Back to December
Evidently, you lot go ‘Back to December’ all the time, with it reaching over 11 million views on our channel! Another throwback Taylor tune, ‘Back to December’ is a wistful karaoke ballad that is always guaranteed to pull at our heart strings. Contemplative of a past relationship, this song’s poignant lyrics and soul-stirring vocals express regret and longing.
Radiohead – Creep
Creeping its way onto our list… is ‘Creep’! This self-loathing anthem may have initially not been successful, but its 1993 reissue catapulted the British band to international stardom, with the song becoming a decade defining 90s alternative rock hit! A fan favourite, this karaoke song may be special to us, but Radiohead have actually grown to hate ‘Creep’ – with their song ‘My Iron Lung’ reflecting this.

Lady Gaga – Bad Romance
You and me could sing a ‘Bad Romance’! Inspired by German house and techno, this Grammy-winning experimental pop song and its extravagant, high-fashion, avant-garde theatrical music video, became a cultural phenomenon that cemented both Gaga’s artistry and her status as a pop icon! With its distinctive hook and catchy chorus, this is a recognisable karaoke song that releases the Little Monster in everyone. ‘Ra-ra, ah-ah-ah, roma, roma-ma’!
Ariana Grande ft. Nicki Minaj – Side To Side
Any Ari and Nicki collab is a certified bop! Sorry, we don’t make the rules. Appearing on Ariana’s third studio album, Dangerous Woman, this reggae-infused pop track is the definition of fun and flirty, and is a great karaoke song to sing with your besties (as proven by over 11 million of you)! All that’s left to do is to hop on a Spin Class bike!
