The Greatest Showman is the gift that kept on a giving – a film so packed full of musical numbers it was hard to pick out our favourite. But we have, and it’s ‘A Million Dreams’, as originally sung by Michelle Williams.

One Direction – What Makes You Beautiful
Oh, One Direction. Will you ever be back? While we sadly don’t have the answer to that question, we do have one of their best songs on our easy karaoke songs for kids list, ‘What Makes You Beautiful’. Now excuse us a minute while we go pray to the One Direction gods a bit more.
When the Village People addressed the ‘young man’ in their iconic 1978 track YMCA, it’s as if they almost knew that one day they’d be featuring on our easy karaoke songs for kids list. Just kidding. This is one of our favourites to sing with all the family. And of course no rendition is complete without the obligatory spelling out of the letters YMCA with your arms.
Next up is Brit pop-rockers Bastille with ‘Pompeii’. With lyrics like ‘eh-eh-oh, eh-oh’, this is a song that can be sung universally across all ages, whatever language.
Frozen – Let It Go
You didn’t think we’d miss out quite possibly THE most iconic kids karaoke song in recent years did you? No, we thought not. Coming in hot – or should that be cold – at number 9 is ‘Let It Go’, the earworm from Frozen the movie which we’ve only just stopped humming along to ourselves to be honest.
10. Sara Bareilles – Brave
We stan a positive message in a song. And they don’t get more uplifting than Sara Bareilles’ ‘Brave’, which is about the integrity and beauty in being who you are. It was inspired by her close friend who was struggling with coming out.
11. John Legend – All Of Me
Of course family man John Legend makes it onto our easy karaoke songs for kids list. All Of Me is one of our all-time most sung songs, a beautiful tribute to his wife Chrissy Teigan.
12. TONES AND I – DANCE MONKEY
‘Dance Monkey’ is without a doubt one of the most popular tracks in recent years, topping the official singles charts in over 30 countries and breaking record after record globally. But did you know that Tones wrote the song when she was a busker playing for tips at Byron Bay in Australia?
13. ABBA – Dancing Queen
From Dancing Monkeys to Dancing Queens, this song is one for all the family to enjoy! ABBA’s Dancing Queen is a timeless karaoke classic.
14. High School Musical – Breaking Free
Take us back to 2006! To a time of UGGS and skinny jeans and a couple of baby faced cuties, Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens bringing us arguably one of the greatest musicals of all time, High School Musical.
15. Backstreet Boys – I Want It That Way
Next up on our list of easy karaoke songs for kids is Backstreet Boys with their classic 00s track ‘I Want It That Way’. Warning: our karaoke video sadly does not come with a private plane to use as a backdrop. You can still recreate the video by dressing up in all white though.
Number 16 is American singer and songwriter Christina Perri, with ‘A Thousand Years’, taken from the ultimate tween classic Twilight saga.

19. Corinne Bailey Rae – Put Your Records On
Next up is English singer Corinne Bailey Rae’s sweet karaoke track and 2006 hit single ‘Put Your Records On’. A relaxed pace and not too many high or low notes make this an ideal candidate for our easy karaoke songs for kids list.

When we started writing this list, we didn’t think The Rock would feature, but here we are. Another Disney song, this one is from the animated film Moana and went four-times platinum.
Easy karaoke songs for kids don’t get much better than Carly Rae Jepsen’s ‘Call Me Maybe’. Hey! We just met you, and this is crazy, but here’s our number, so call us maybe?
23. The Backyardigans – Castaways
Castaways by The Backyardigans was undoubtedly the unexpected runaway hit of the summer after gaining a cult following on the internet.
24. Ed Sheeran – Perfect
Our boy Ed has so many good songs, it was impossible to pick just one for our easy karaoke songs for kids list, but fear not, we managed. After all, there was a track that was just ‘perfect’ for it (geddit?)
Poor Shawn. He’s really been through the wars emotionally and physically (check out the music video where he gets a real bruising!). We’re here to make it all better and sing away his pain with ‘Stitches’.
Another one from the ‘when our favourite popstars were young’ vaults, ‘This Is Me’ is taken from the 2008 film Camp Rock, when Demi Lovato and Joe Jonas were all wide eyed and bushy tailed. Awww.
With a bouncy melody, fun lyrics and a sunny vibe about it, this song is perfect for all the family to enjoy.
Making it in at number 28 on our easy karaoke songs for kids list is ‘Into The Unknown’ taken from Frozen 2 and sung by none other than pop-punk’s finest and they-of-long-song-track-fame, Panic! At The Disco.
29. Louis Armstrong – What A Wonderful World
We’re going back in time for our penultimate easy karaoke song for kids, with the timeless classic ‘What A Wonderful World’ by jazz legend Louis Armstrong.
30. Selena Gomez & The Scene – Who Says
You made it! You made it through our easy karaoke songs for kids list. And what better way to end than with tween queen herself, Selena Gomez, who brought us this gem of a song, ‘Who Says’, along with The Scene in 2011.
