This month saw the release of Ed Sheeran’s sixth studio album, ‘-(Subtract)’, a mostly acoustic album, and the final instalment of his Mathematics era. A commercial success, this chart-topping hit maintained its number 1 spot on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart for 6 weeks, and has become one of Ed Sheeran’s signature songs. Heartfelt with a beautiful melody, this is the perfect love ballad if you’re looking to jump right into some karaoke.

Debuting at number one on the UK Singles Chart, ‘Shivers’ captures the excitement and euphoria of new love through the use of energetic guitar riffs and a driving beat. Are you in your feels? This karaoke number might not make you happier, but it just might help you vent some of those pent up frustrations. This fan favourite is so well loved that it’s a staple in Ed Sheeran’s live performances. Reaching the Top 5 on the UK Singles Chart, ‘Lego House’ truly helped make Sheeran into the artist he is today, putting it straight on our list of the Top 20 Ed Sheeran Karaoke songs!

Taylor Swift and Ed Sheeran – Everything Has Changed 

Taylor Swift and Ed Sheeran on the same song? Yes, please! A dynamic duo that caught 2012 by surprise, ‘Everything Has Changed’ reached the Top 40 on the Billboard Hot 100. A tune that captures the magic and excitement of new beginnings in a relationship, it’s stripped-down arrangement creates an intimate atmosphere that enhances the song’s cordial lyrics – such as  Swift’s repetition of “I just want to know you better”, which emphasises her curiosity and interest in understanding her partner. If you’re a Swifty or a Sheerio looking for some karaoke, then this is an uplifting vibe you should check out.

Looking for a calm karaoke number? Look no further! Beginning with soft vocals and gentle guitar strumming that progresses into the song’s emotional crescendo, ‘Give Me More’ is a song that showcases Teddy’s impassioned vocal range. This track is one to exercise your vocal muscles, whilst also being an undeniably soothing song to sing.

Ed Sheeran – Galway Girl 

If you’re a fan of Irish folk music, Sheeran’s collaboration with Irish folk band Beoga is a must pick. With its catchy and memorable fiddle melody that adds to the overall Celtic vibe of the song, this is a feel-good karaoke song you just can’t help but sing along to!

Ed Sheeran – Afterglow 

This standalone single brought comfort and warmth to people during the holiday season. An acoustic mellow ballad about his wife, ‘Afterglow’ is a love song that makes for a sweet karaoke number.

Ed got some brotherly assistance on this track when his older brother, Matthew Sheeran, ended up creating the orchestral arrangement. The song actually made him confident in writing slower songs and ballads once again. If you want some good ol’ folk karaoke, ‘The Joker And The Queen’ is that song!

Ed Sheeran & Justin Bieber – I Don’t Care 

With themes of social anxiety and the feeling of not fitting in, ‘I Don’t Care’ is a 2019 collaboration between Ed Sheeran and Justin Beiber, and marks their second collaboration since ‘Love Yourself’, which was released in 2015. Ed Sheeran – All Of The Stars 

Featured on the soundtrack for The Fault In Our Stars, ‘All Of The Stars’ is a moving karaoke number that captures the essence of the 2014 film’s story and its themes of love, loss, appreciation and life. When performed live by Sheeran, this track often tends to be stripped-down and intimate, allowing the emotions of the lyrics to shine through.
