Billie Eilish – Happier Than Ever

A karaoke song that deserves to be screamed from the top of your lungs, ‘Happier Than Ever’ was released as the titular single from Billie’s sophomore album of the same name. Starting off with elements of jazz and soul, the song transitions into a distorted pop punk and emo track as Billie expresses her anger towards a former partner and the toxic relationship. A raw power ballad, ‘Happier Than Ever’ is a standout track on the album, and the ultimate cathartic breakup anthem.

Billie Eilish – bury a friend

Written from the perspective of a monster underneath someone’s bed, ‘bury a friend’ and its accompanying horror themed music video is equally quirky and creepy! From its pulsating beat to its dark lyrics and whispering vocals, this is a terrifyingly addictive karaoke song to sing.

Billie Eilish – idontwannabeyouanymore

Detailing her experiences with depression and struggles of self-doubt and self-acceptance, ‘idontwannabeyouanymore’ is a relatable ballad that emphasises the impact of societal pressure and expectations. Upbeat with sentimental lyrics, this karaoke track is a prime example of Billie’s ability to master melodic pop whilst tackling heavy, emotional themes.

Billie Eilish – Halley’s Comet

This next karaoke song is one for the romantics! Named after a short-period comet that is visible from earth every 75-76 years, Billie uses Halley’s Comet as an analogy for her love being a rarity, not coming around often, and the significance of her feelings of falling in love. A stripped back ballad, this song is lullaby-esque, and a sweet sing-along.

Billie Eilish – ocean eyes

We couldn’t have our list of the 20 Best Billie Eilish Karaoke Songs without the song that started it all! Originally written by Finneas for his band, The Slightlys, the song was given to a then thirteen-year-old Billie for her dance performance after he realised it suited her vocals better. After posting the song on SoundCloud, it went viral, going on to be later re-released commercially. From its vulnerable lyrics to its dreamy pop production, we’re still obsessed with this song all these years later.

Billie Eilish – No Time To Die

The youngest artist in history to write and record a James Bond theme, Billie scored her first UK number-one single with ‘No Time To Die’! This orchestral pop karaoke ballad reflecting romantic betrayal checks all the boxes of being quintessentially Bondesque: Moody piano, check! Dramatic strings, check! Film noir guitar, check! And Billie’s signature soft, whispering vocals just perfectly top it off!

Billie Eilish – COPYCAT

Compared to the rest of the Don’t Smile at Me EP, ‘COPYCAT’ is an angry track, and there’s no wonder why! Heavily inspired by someone who kept copying Billie, this is a fed up anthem full of electro-synths and distorted background vocals. So don’t be cautious, channel all the rage you can and give it your all when you karaoke this track!

Billie Eilish – when the party’s over

With a choral influence inspired by Billie and Finneas’ experience singing in a choir growing up, ‘when the party’s over’ is a bare and breathy hymnal ballad that’s almost entirely vocal – accompanied only by sub-bass and acoustic piano. Penned by Finneas following the end of a relationship, this karaoke song and its emotive, mature lyrics is elevated by Billie’s haunting, melodic vocals, and never fails to give us goosebumps.

Billie Eilish – you should see me in a crown

Who knew the O’Connells were such big Sherlock fans! Inspired by dialogue from the BBC drama, this trap-influenced electropop hit was released as the lead single of Billie’s debut studio album, When We Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?’. Billie Eilish – bellyache

Time to bust out the yellow overalls for this one! Inspired by Tyler The Creator’s ‘Garbage’, this macabre electropop track is fictionally written from the perspective of a psychotic murderer, and explores themes of guilt. Billie Eilish – i love you

We do mean it when we say we love this karaoke song! ‘i love you’ appears as one of the final three tracks of When We Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?, forming a sentence alongside ‘listen before I go’ and ‘goodbye’ (“Listen Before I Go, I Love You, Goodbye”), with all three songs being different sentiments about a farewell. Lyrically delving into Billie’s reluctance to fall in love and her attempts to convince someone they shouldn’t love her either, ‘i love you’ is an acoustic ballad that’s deeply sincere. Featuring vocal harmonies from Finneas throughout, this is a beautiful slow-tempo sing-along that’s sure to impress.

Billie Eilish – my future

Inspired by being alone in quarantine during the COVID-19 pandemic, ‘my future’ sees Billie break away from her usual sad girl anthems, optimistically reflecting on her future. Experimenting from her usual sound, this R&B ambient karaoke ballad possesses influences of soul and jazz, combining an upbeat production with lyrics addressing self-love and personal power.
